Albertini came to king's bay in 1928 onboard the marine naval ship "Città di milano". on board the ship were the italian alpine hunters and members of the SUCAI (a university association in connection to the CAI - Club Alpino Italiano). these men searched the northe eastern shores of Svalbard searching for the "Italia" and it's crew. Albertini went on skies with the Norwegian trapper hilmar Nøis. Albertini gave the name to the "Albertiniøya" and the "Kapp LAura" and the "Italiaodden" on the northe east coast of the Nordaustlandet in the Svalbard archipelago.
